  • Adelsheim Breaking Ground Pinot Noir
    translation missing: en.products.product.description

From the Chehalem Mountains Appelation of Oregon's Willamette Valley is this stunning example of Pinot Noir.

“Deliciously layered aromas of black cherry and black raspberry lift out of the glass, followed by exotic spice notes and a dark, rich loamy quality. This wine is like satin in the mouth—so supple. It toes the line between ethereal and ponderous in the most delightful way.”

  • Adelsheim Chehalem Mountains Pinot Blanc Bryan Creek Vineyard
    translation missing: en.products.product.description

“Pretty early in my life as a Willamette Valley winegrower, I heard the story about Ernest Reuter, the Forest Grove winemaker, who had won a gold medal for his Klevner wine at the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904.  It was a story that had double appeal – it spoke to the fame of Oregon wines in the pre-prohibition era and it enhanced the reputation of Pinot blanc.  “Klevner”  wasn’t exactly the name of a single variety – it has referred over time to many members of the Pinot family (even Pinot noir) but most often it seemed to mean Pinot blanc.  At least in the early 1970’s that’s what I thought."

  • Adelsheim Staking Claim Chadonnay
    translation missing: en.products.product.description
Staking a claim involves first the discovery of a valuable mineral in quantities that a "prudent man" (the Prudent Man Rule) would invest time and expenses to recover. Next, marking the claim boundaries, typically with wooden posts or capped steel posts, which must be four feet tall, or stone cairns, which must be three feet tall. Finally, filing a claim with both the land management agency and the local county registrar.
