Special Wine on the Water ft. Amazing Italian Wines!

We try our best to offer a wide array of Italian wines that showcase the country’s rich winemaking heritage. This Wednesday with our Wine on the Water, we’re featuring four distinct wines, each with a unique flavor profile and a story to tell. Let’s take a closer look at Carra Prosecco Extra Dry Rosé, Martusciello Falanghina, La Meridiana Barbera d'Asti, and Guado al Melo Bolgheri Rosso.

Carra Prosecco Extra Dry Rosé

Carra Prosecco Extra Dry Rosé is a delightful sparkling wine that hails from the Veneto region of Italy. This rosé is crafted from Glera and Pinot Nero grapes, which give it a beautiful blush pink color and a bright, fruity profile. On the nose, expect aromas of red berries, citrus, and delicate florals. Its crisp bubbles and refreshing finish make it an ideal choice for celebrations, as well as an excellent pairing with light appetizers or seafood dishes.

Martusciello Falanghina

Martusciello Falanghina offers a crisp, refreshing expression of one of Italy’s most beloved white grape varieties, Falanghina, which originates from the Campania region. The wine showcases bright notes of green apple, citrus, and white flowers, with a distinctive mineral backbone that reflects the volcanic soils of its terroir. Its lively acidity and complex flavor profile make it an excellent match for seafood, grilled vegetables, and fresh salads. If you’re seeking a white wine that balances elegance and vibrancy, Martusciello Falanghina is a fantastic choice.

La Meridiana Barbera d'Asti

La Meridiana Barbera d'Asti is a bold, fruit-driven red wine from the famous Piedmont region. Known for its rich notes of dark berries, cherries, and subtle spices, this Barbera offers a velvety texture with vibrant acidity that makes it stand out. Barbera d'Asti is a versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from tomato-based pastas to grilled meats. Its perfect balance of fruitiness and earthiness makes it a favorite for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Guado al Melo Bolgheri Rosso

Guado al Melo Bolgheri Rosso is a sophisticated red blend from Tuscany’s coastal Bolgheri region. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, this wine delivers a complex bouquet of black cherries, plums, and earthy notes like tobacco and leather. Full-bodied and smooth, with well-integrated tannins, this wine has a long, memorable finish. Ideal for pairing with rich meats like steak, lamb, or game, Guado al Melo Bolgheri Rosso is the wine to reach for when you want to make a statement at the dinner table.

Each of these Italian wines—Carra Prosecco Extra Dry Rosé, Martusciello Falanghina, La Meridiana Barbera d'Asti, and Guado al Melo Bolgheri Rosso—brings its own unique charm and versatility to the table. Whether you’re in the mood for a sparkling rosé, a crisp white, or a bold red, these wines are sure to impress. Don't forget to stop in Wednesday to explore these selections and discover new favorites to add to your collection!
