Give Back ~ Drink Wine!

theoleo Wines ~ Excellent wine that makes a difference.

Join us for a memorable wine-filled experience with theoleo wines.  Our friend, Banks Wannamaker, with Republic National Distributing, will be joining us and sharing some amazing wines from Give Back Wine Group.

theoleo’s mission is to instill greater world value through the power of drinking and sharing wine. They support sustainable wildlife and nature conservation in North America through wine, ultimately providing excellent wine that makes a difference.

Give Back Wine Group, the parent company, is dedicated to the conservation of North American Wildlife. Give Back Wine Group vints and bottles the wine using a state-of-the-art facility, top-of-the-line barrel storage, and over 20 years of wine-making experience, bringing forth wines from prestigious growing regions within California. Each bottle features Wildlife supported by the American Wildlife Conservation Partners, where a percentage of proceeds are donated.

Wines We're Tasting

Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles

Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles is a dark, fruit forward Cabernet Sauvignon with rich flavors featuring bold fruit and soft tannins. This bottle features a North American bear. Black and brown bears were once as populous as deer in the United States. Bears are staples of a blooming ecosystem as well as wildlife habitats, and they help maintain the food chain. They fully thrive in only the healthiest of wildlife habitat and ecosystems. A portion of our proceeds will be donated to wildlife advocacy programs that protect and improve the environments bears need to thrive.

Chardonnay Arroyo Seco (Monterey County)

Chardonnay from Arroyo Seco, California is a rich, balanced, and lush fruit Chardonnay. This bottle features a Rainbow Trout, which are an indicator species and play an important ecological role in the biodiversity of streams and rivers across America. These beautiful animals feed mostly on hatchlings and flies. In order to produce the amount of food they require, there must be nearby trees, grasses, and native natural habitat that grow beside sprawling fresh water streams, creeks, and rivers. Trout require cold, clean water which is why a portion of our proceeds will be donated to wildlife advocacy programs that protect the environments trout need to flourish.

Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County

Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara, California is a silky Pinot Noir with bright aroma featuring lively fruit and a touch of oak. This bottle features a pheasant. A popular game animal among outdoorsmen, pheasants are known for eating insects and only thrive in places that have healthy natural habitats. Found predominantly in the Midwest, pheasant would be more prominent around the United States if there was greater investment in habitat that helps them thrive. A portion of our proceeds from this bottle will be donated to wildlife advocacy programs that protect the environments pheasants need to prosper.

Charles Roux Blanc de Blanc

In addition to theoleo wines, we will also enjoy a nice bubbly from Charles Roux. This sparkling wine with a pale golden color has aromas of green apple, citrus, and flowers, along with hints of toasty bread and almond. The taste is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of pear, lemon, and a touch of white peach. The wine has a balanced sweetness and a clean finish with citrus and mineral notes. It is an elegant and enjoyable sparkling wine, perfect for celebrations or as an aperitif.
