Join us for an exciting week of flavor exploration at The Wine Shop of Charleston, starting with our Wine on the Water tasting on Wednesday, June 25, featuring Klinker Brick Winery, and continuing with complimentary spirits tastings on Friday and Saturday!

 Wine on the Water – Klinker Brick Winery

Wednesday, June 25 | 4:30 – 6:30 PM

We’re thrilled to welcome Renee Roscoe & Klinker Brick Winery of Lodi, California—a family-owned estate with six generations of grape-growing history. The name comes from “klinker bricks,” the heavy, dark red bricks used in the early 20th century known for their strength and character. Similarly, Klinker Brick’s wines are bold, expressive, and full of personality.

Wines We’re Pouring:

• Grenache Blanc – Crisp and refreshing with citrus blossom and white peach.
  Pairs with: Grilled shrimp, goat cheese salads, lemon-herb chicken.
• Albariño – Bright and zesty with lime, stone fruit, and saline minerality.
  Pairs with: Oysters, ceviche, fish tacos, spicy Thai dishes.
• Syrah – Dark berries, black pepper, and smoky richness in a smooth, full-bodied red. Pairs with: BBQ ribs, lamb burgers, portobello mushrooms.
• Old Vine Zinfandel – Crafted from 90+ year-old vines, rich with blackberry, plum, and spice. Pairs with: Brisket, burgers, or pepperoni pizza.

🥃 Spirits Tasting – Beyond Distilling

We're continuing the fun with a complimentary spirits tasting from Beyond Distilling, a Charleston-based distillery known for crafting spirits with quality ingredients and bold flavor profiles.

Featured Spirits:

• Bourbon – A rich, smooth bourbon with notes of vanilla, caramel, and a touch of spice—ideal for sipping or classic cocktails.
• Coconut Rum – Made with real coconut for a naturally sweet, tropical flavor—perfect for island-style drinks.
• Tropical Gin – Bright, citrusy, and herbal, this gin offers a unique twist with tropical botanicals.

Wrap up the week with a taste of summer in a can! Sun Cruiser Cocktails will be sampling their refreshingly easy-drinking vodka canned cocktails—perfect for beach days, boats, or backyard lounging. Featured Flavors: Tea Vodka, Lemonade Vodka, Tea/Lemonade Vodka, and Peach Tea Vodka.
