Wine's For Dad: A Pre-Father's Day Wine Tasting

While it’ roots date back to the Middle Ages, Father’s Day was founded in the United States by a young lady named Sonora Smart Dodd, daughter of Civil War Veteran William Jackson Smart. Observed on the third Sunday in June, the first Father’s Day celebration was in 1910 in Spokane, Washington.
In honor of father’s everywhere, we at The Wine Shop are going to have a tasting dedicated to Dad on Wednesday the 16th from 5 - 7. Staying in France, we’ll be tasting two white Burgundies, one of which is a Cremant (Sparkling wine from France not produced in the Champagne region and a white from Montagny. For the reds, we’re going big and rich and going to Bordeaux (think California Cabernet’s wiser older brother).
So come on out, join us and have some fun. Whether you want to treat dad to some fun a few days early, want to get him some bottles as a last minute gift or you just want to enjoy yourself and drink some good wine, stop by and enjoy the view with us.
